Tales of Twilight: Arietta The snow fell softly on the small village, the evening lamps on the wooden houses giving off a pleasant glow. "Still waiting?" At the entrance of the village a young, woman barely nineteen turned as a much older man approached her, "Ah, father. Is Ami asleep yet?" The man grinned, "Your mother just tucked her in, but she's too hyped to sleep. Just like you, Arietta." Arietta laughed, "Can you blame her? Tomorrow's her birthday after all! And she's getting the best present she possibly can!"
UnconsciousnessThe scenery slowly fades awayIn an emotional blur of dim lights and indulgent atmosphereThe music, soft, eerie, makes its way deeper and deeper into our mindsStirring our memories until our hearts beg for redemptionThe taste of sweet wine is still on my lipsLingering on my tongue and sinking in my thoughtsThoughts of regret and bliss and atonementThoughts becoming more and more obscure as I dive into unconsciousness
